 Great for neophyte – intermediate student players.

The Mitchell Lurie Premium reeds are an magnificent choice for players who have at least a few months of experience. They fabricate a nice rich and balanced sound, and are lowcost too.
If you want to step your game up from these reeds, I strongly commend the Vandoren V12′s (their reed amount of energy differ, so check out a reed comparison chart for clarinets).

I’m a novice clarinet player, but these reeds are a marked betterment from the Rico Royal 2.5 reeds I was using before. Is it just because of the higher strength, or a divergence in brand quality? I couldn’t tell you. I may only say I’m satisfied with this product. I may hit low ‘e’ all the way up to high ‘c’ (as a good deal of notes as my clarinet book shows) without much problem using these reeds. I’m only on the first, so the others in the pack might be terrible

I have been playing on teams for over 20 years and find that the Mitchell Lurie “Premium” reeds are the best! Very lasting and quality is wonderful. I hope they always keep it the same for years to come!
