The Quantz series embodies ingenuity, innovation and diversity, and is exclusively distinguishable in the flute making industry. Aspiring flautists have never been so fortunate. Every Quantz model has French pointed arms. Once considered solely the domainname of handmade flute, it is now universally provided by Pearl. Our patented Pinless mechanism and One-Piece Core-Bar construction are also present all around the range. This ingenuous yet simple design affords even the student or novice flautist with an particularly effective and dependable mechanism – another industry first.

Even altho I play a TAMA Drum Kit, and have been since 1989, I have my eye on a new Pearl Snare Drum! Have you ever heard of the SensiTone Elite Series Pearl Snare Drum? From the reviews, it sounds gorgeous good!

Since the snare is plainly one of the most employed pieces of equipment, right along with the bass drum and hi-hats, the quality of a drummer’s overall sound is at stake.

I applied to play with the metal TAMA Snare that came with my kit. That was back when I didn’t recognise much with regards to drum construction. That thing sounded awful! I never understood it… my toms and bass sounded finelooking good, but there was just something regarding that TAMA Snare!

Most Limited Edition TAMA Drum Sets like the “RockStar,” which is the one I own, have matching snare drums, while most other drum sets are sold as “shell packs” without a sameness snare drum, or with a metal snare from the same line.

I don’t rather remember, but I think my TAMA Snare Drum may have been stainless steel. The pitch was low and the tone was dark, and that’s the same characteristics you get with a snare made with wood, such as maple, birch, ash, cherry.

Anyway, today I play with a 13 x 3.5 picolo snare. It doesn’t give rise to much volume because of it is size, but it has a nice “crack” (insert joke here)!

Every drummer needs a great sounding snare drum! Thankfully, the sound and performance of any drum may be somewhat altered by a selection of dissimilar heads, hoops, and snare wires, plus dissimilar tunings to the batter and resonate heads, and utilizing a potpourri of dissimilar muffling applications, but not one thing is going to affect the sound quality more than the material the drum shells are made from.

Many snare drum makers choose using metal because of it is hardness and weight. With a metal snare, volume and projection may actually be defined. And that’s plainly what using metal for drum shells is primarily about… more so than quality of tone.

Even altho volume and projection are crucial in a snare, quality of tone shouldn’t be ignored. Snare drums made from dissimilar metals each have their own distinguishable tone, even though it may be very subtle.

Metal snares are made with either steel, bronze, brass, or copper, but aluminum drum shells are known for their “naturally EQ’ed sound” that develop a noticeably “drier” sound than other snares.

In fact, I read where “Pearl’s SensiTone Elite Aluminum Snare Drum” offers a blast of high volume that’s full of musical character. Again, I’m thinking regarding getting one of these Pearl Snare Drums!

The Pearl Snare Drum from the SensiTone Elite Series features a 1.2mm seamless aluminum drum shell, SuperHoop II, vertical pull SR-017 snare strainer, stainless steel tension rods, and Ultra Sound “I” type snares.

Whether you do or do not comprehend what all that means, just recognise Pearl Drums offer 100% quality productions at beautiful prices! In fact, Pearl Drums are the most widely applied drum kits today, and are amid the most widely copied models amongst drum manufacturers.

5GREAT SOUND & QUALITY AT A STUDENT PRICE
By JR
I love my new Pearl flute. I played in the high school band 25 years ago and have lately begun to play at church services. This Pearl flute has a finelooking tone. The keys have smooth action. Low & high notes are played with ease. The head & body are silver-plated. It has an offset G & split E Mechanism. It seems most of the Pearl flutes offered here have the open hole key style. This peculiar model has CLOSED HOLE keys. I’m just pointing that out because the data doesn’t specify and the picture is deceiving. It comes with a French style case and very nice case cover which is fleece lined, has a carry strap, and has a zipper pocket to keep the cleaning rod & cloths that come with it. I’m very happy with my purchase.
