Curved Soprano Saxophone

"classic" designation of a type of soprano sax?

I've seen several conformations soprano saxophone. One had a curve Body and a large vertical conical bell. The one I want to know the "real" name is the straight species body, similar to most of the Clarinet. Want to know what can this type of saxophone in a score designated nomenclature. Thanks

Both are exactly the same instrument, Petr. Some brands saxophone soprano is curved like the rest of the family of Sax, but most of them are straight, as the clarinet or oboe. The soprano saxophone does not really need because of their size (curvature lower limb of the family to be there to play and be slightly curved), the key player within reach. The curved soprano saxophone models (which always seems a bit stupid and young to me) are like flies and no special attention to either name the variant.

What is a curve in a straight collar for a soprano sax do?

I am a clarinetist with about 6 years of experience, and I also 3 years experience with the saxophone, soprano saxophone I will in the coming months, and I was just curious what the neck as different in tone, tone, etc. Also, any input on what works best for certain things is much appreciated. I play saxophone and I played a soprano with the neck curve and a line. To be honest I do not think the neck is too big a difference tone. It seems to darken the tone a little, but I think it is a matter of preference. Especially since, the law of the saxophone neck, take the horn right in front of you and a twisted neck, may be closer to his body, and is more ergonomic for some people. I prefer the neck bent, personally. It is easier to use a neck strap. Some people do not use a neck strap soprano, but when you do not use one, the wrist starts to hurt. I do not want to get carpal tunnel or anything.
