Why is the sound of these notes are so ethereal my saxophone?
I recently bought a Tenor Saxophone Mendini by Cecilio, fresh from the line factory. If you did this, I realized that it is very hard to play, and if I play the high and B, airy notes, but my C is in order. I am currently 2.5 Cecilio playing with Reed. It is the instrument itself is the problem (in terms of the valve is the eighth in the neck), or is it something to do with becoming a new saxophone, pipe again? Or should you apply more or less cane? Please help, I need this for my saxophone lessons at a university and I imagined that out sooner, the better.
Most music stores will be the instrument of verification of leakage and other problems not much money. Whenever the problem, I am usually a very strong cane. Try setting up a size or half. For brands I would recommend Vandoren or Rico Royal.
Saxophone! How can we save the head? Favorite brand?
My left arm was asleep when I was playing tenor in high school. I'm 30 + now, and start playing my tenor again, but remembering those days and did not want to put pressure on the discs in my neck, what can I do to save the muscles in my neck and back strains regularly? I use a towel over his shoulders, but I would know what brand of belt (harness?) Disperse more weight? The most comfortable?
I'd say you go to your local music store and find a belt that has a cushion, large soft on this issue, the concept is that, along the belt, the weight is distributed over a wider area and therefore causes less pressure on your neck, you might want to consider how to maintain your instrument, which is putting pressure down further into the device or use your thumb to help support the instrument? You may want to move from a side of a chair a straight-oriented approach (saxophone between his legs), etc. Each of these could help eliminate the problem ...
