I’ve played Yamaha saxophones long before I wrote this Yamaha YAS-23 Review and if you’ve ever played a Yamaha saxophone you know why they’re so popular and trade lots of them. Although I still prefer the sound of a Selmer, but Yamaha saxophones have sure playability element that makes them feel right.

The Yamaha YAS-23 alto saxophone is a highly commended horn for any beginner or even intermediate looking for a good quality, well playing saxophone.

Now the Yamaha YAS-23 isn’t the best model they make, far from it. It’s still a Yamaha altho and there’s a sure amount of integrity and quality this company is known for. When I got a saxophone that did have that key I found it a bit requiring little effort to get the note in tune but I’ll argue that I made good betterment while working on my tone and embouchure up there without the high F#, so going without in this case isn’t inevitably a bad thing.

Best thing to Take away from this Yamaha YAS-23 Review… It Just Feels Right!

The Yamaha YAS-23 is much like all other models by this manufacturer and that is they just “feel right”… and that’s very important! You recognise what that means when you undertake playing galore dissimilar makes and models.

Some feel like they were made by somebody who wasn’t a player because of the spacing among numerous of the notes for example, or the height of a peculiar side key. These are things that affect our speed and playing comfort… just doesn’t feel right.

Great Sax! Excellent Sercive!

This sax plays excellent. I would commend it to any individual who wants to buy a nice sax at an lowpriced price. It looks actually nice and does not look or sound cheap at all.

UPDATE:

This sax has been working out utterly for the duration of the time I’ve been using it. I just came across a little problem and had to contact Service for the problem to be solved. It was a wondrous experience; very nice people and they actually care in regards to their customers. The problem was solved fast so they shipped the sax fast too. I’m very satisfied with this product and Service too. If you in truth want to buy a new lowcost sax, i would go for this brand. It has been a great experience.

Great instrument…

Great saxophone! I purchased my LJ Hutchen sax when it comes to a year ago from a music store for a much higher price (I in truth kicked myself when I saw it here for so cheap!) I am buying another one for my nephew to play on for his school band this coming fall, and this time through Amazon! This sax has a clear sound and it actually plays great. I know my nephew will love it!

Great product, outstanding value!

I am thrilled with this saxophone – it not only looks great, it likewise sounds great! The case is nice and sturdy with top and side handles, and is also nicely lined. My son just started taking lessons, and fell in love with it the moment he saw it – which is motivating him to exercise almost every day (without my prodding!). This is my second LJ Hutchen buy from Hyson (purchased a flute last year for my daughter which we are evenly happy with).
