Yamaha or Selmer?

Im thinking of becoming new Alto Sax .. Should I get a Yamaha or Selmer? (Pro sax)

By eg, tons of people think that the Selmer Mark VI is the best of the best for the saxophone. When I played, I've never had a good sound from them.
