alto saxophone in very nice shape. Appraised at 500.00 and will trade at 250.00 Needs pads and touch-up to be played by new owner. In case. Extras there. Great for new marching band member. Appraiser said it was in terrifi shape. Was my son’s band instrument in middle school.

Bundy saxophones are a portion of the Selmer Company. Many know the brand Bundy because they were once owned by the Buescher Musical Instrument Company based out of Indiana. The Bundy saxophone became general for it’s fine craftsmanship. The Buescher Company used special tooling to give the Bundy saxophones an costly and glitzy looking finish.

Bundy saxophones are a very mutual choice for beginning saxophone students. These saxophones started to become very frequent as student horns in the 1970′s. The price point was in particular beautiful to new saxophone students, because they could get started with a new instrument for $700. This is much lower in cost, equated to assorted other manufacturers who charge more than $1000 for a new saxophone.

The Bundy name originated from George Bundy who worked for the Selmer Company in the early 1900′s. Mr. Bundy was responsible for the Amerian portion of the Selmer Company, based out of Elkart, Indiana. Mr. Bundy was partially responsible for increasing client demand for saxophones and increasing sales to baby boomers for the duration of the 1960′s.

There are various applied Bundy saxophones available on the market, because 1000s of student horns have been sold allround the years. These instruments have plainly been well made, because saxophones from the 70′s and 80′s are still being employed in band programs all over the country. Also, professional musicians who have purchased these saxophones over twenty years ago are still playing on galore of the firstborn designs of the Bundy saxophones. Most wind instruments will stay in good condition for years, if in the right manner cared for by the owner.

I purchased a saxophone on Ebay right before buying this one and the experience was horrid (bad quality, over-priced shipping, etc). The item listed on Amazon was not only of better quality but the communication from the marketer was splendid and the shipping cost was AWESOME!!! I’d unquestionably buy again from Amazon.
