I ofttimes speak when it comes to the importance of leadership and culture in transforming organizations. There may be no better recent example of this than Larry Scott’s stewardship of the Pac-10, and it is elaboration into the newly formed Pacific-12 conference. In just a little over two years, Scott has added two worthy teams to the conference, and more importantly, signed a contract giving the Pac-12 the most remunerative media-rights deal in collegiate sports history.

For over a decade I have told friends that I thought the best occupation in sports was the commissioner of the Pac-10. Partly because it was a no fail circumstance – they had nowhere to go but up- but likewise as a result of their long record of having missed chance after chance in the age of 24-hour sports and the advent of ESPN. While other conferences acutely took vantage of the growing market for collegiate sports, the Pac-10 sat idly by watching as other conferences were cashing in.

The fact that the Pac-10 was an underexposed and underperforming group discussion for more than 20-years before Scott took over, will have to not diminish his accomplishments. To his credit, he hit the ground running and without delay added primary new members to his staff, and almost pulled off the biggest coup in group discussion elaboration history. Even the coaches and administrators at the event seemed to be more accommodating and enthusiastic than just a few short years ago. Quite an accomplishment when you consider Scott has added two further and added days on the East coast to the coach’s media duties. This is a fine example of how people in all walks of life take to further and added work when there is a clear resourcefulness and well stated intention behind the change.

Settling for the status quo is a thing of the past now for the Pac-12 conference, and Larry Scott is a shining star in the universe of what is possible when leadership is coupled with forward thinking resourcefulness and a strong culture of innovation.

Trumpet case

I was unsure with regards to this case because the description, and pictures do not do it justice. I was enjoyably supprised, this case has everything I needed. It has a great deal of shelter for the horn, and storage space for everything. I have a half dozen mutes, including a box mute, and they all fit in this case.

Excellent trumpet case

This is an magnificent choice for severe trumpeters. Good size, with avalilability of 2 mouthpieces, 3 mutes and it is a beauteous item to handle and walk with.
A good choice for the price, after looking other trumpet cases in the market.

Nice Trumpet Case

This is a very nice, large, sturdy item. In fact, a little to huge ~ we returned it. However, if you’re looking for a trumpet case with a lot of room, this is the one for you.
