Flute--pros/cons I rent or buy? Serious only!?
Band teacher told my daughter, who is playing very good flute (first timer) We took her to do in band class at school, cuz, (yeahh! Really) want it. What now? Lease or purchase of care / cleaning kit? All this is new for us all. Thank you!
Perhaps it is worth mentioning that the band teacher? How long have you play? They say they really enjoy - I suppose in the LongRun, going out to buy cheaper. Go to - get your own Christmas flute.
What is needed to care for a flute?
u guys could tell me what all you have to maintain and nurture a new flute? Mal or to obtain a cleaning rod, polishing cloth, there are other things u guys recommend / say are essential for the proper care of a flute?
Congratulations choose to play the flute! I can promise that it will open a whole new world of music. They seem to have done some research on the care of a flute correctly, but here are the essential supplies and procedures you need to keep your flute in good condition. Supplies: ~ cleaning rod (I recommend getting 2 If you is suspended as I type, I lost my cleaning rod before and there are no sellers of good music in a radius of 30 miles from where I live, so I had to wait weeks for get a new one. You can also get a metal or a cool color!) ~ Pieces of cloth to put on your cleaning rod (You can use cotton yarn or 100%. I use I for my cotton muslin, for piccolo and flute. Personally, I prefer cotton, but I'm very expressive person, Artsy, and you can buy cotton fabric tons of patterns and colors for cheap at any craft store!) ~ polishing cloth (not terribly important to keep your flute sound fantastic but you will probably get one or two to keep your flute tarnishing. No polish my flute when I arrived, and now it looks like crap because of it. : (I'm using a chemical agent treated fabric to protect it from further damage, but you can use a soft cotton cloth.) ~ Tone Hole Cleaners (These are basically as a pipe) ~ cleaning paper pads (to keep your flute get sticky notes) Procedure: ~ One of the main causes of the pads must be replaced by the condensation that comes to play. For the condensation of the thread flute, first corner of your cleaning cloth through the hole after cleaning rod. Pull it a bit to make sure it's there and not come out well. Next, put the fabric in the end your cleaning rod. Put the cleaning rod in the entire section of each individual to his flute. It may take several tries to get all the condensation out. ~ You can polish your flute after every practice, if you feel the need, but really only necessary every two days. Just rub it to remove all fingetprints and you're ready! : O) Tips ~ After to use the cleaning cloth, let dry ~ NE Do not keep your ROD AND CLEAN AFTER WEB finished playing his flute. You will ruin your pads when the humidity of the fabric becomes in for them. ~ Wash your clothes clean and polished from time to time:) Good luck to play the flute!
