ReviewHis eloquent gueule, or bad mouth, recognizably shocked and energized the language to a new vitality. Luce’s savvy translation brings this idiosyncratic, demonically streetwise culture guru to life for English-speaking readers. (Publishers Weekly )

Conversations with Professor Y is an eminently satisfying reading experience. (Queen”s Quarterly )

Language NotesText: English, French

About the AuthorLouis-Ferdinand Céline (1894-1961) was a French writer and doctor whose novels are antiheroic visions of humane suffering. Accused of collaboration with the Nazis, Céline fled France in 1944 introductory to Germany and then to Denmark. Condemned by default (1950) in France to one year of imprisonment and declared a national disgrace, Céline returned to France after his pardon in 1951, where he continued to write until his death. His classic books include Journey to the End of the Night, Death on the Installment Plan, London Bridge, North, Rigadoon, Conversations with Professor Y, Castle to Castle, and Normance.

Stanford Luce (1923-2007) was born in Boston, attended Dartmouth, and fought in Normandy for the duration of World War II. Using the G.I. Bill, he earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in French studies from Yale University. He started out his career at Miami University in 1952 and retired as professor emeritus in 1988. Luce specialized on the works of Louis Ferdinand Céline, publishing four books and assorted articles on the French novelist.

How Will New Stanford Professor Condi Rice Do In Class 10 Points

“Here’s the truth, merely stated . . . bookstores are suffering from a severe crisis of falling sales.”

So begins the imaginative consultation that comprises this novel. Professor Y, the interviewing academic, asks questions that grant Céline, a reputation in his own book, the probability to rail versus convention and defend his idiosyncratic methods. In the course of their outrageous interplay, Céline comes closer to defining and justifying his poetics than in any of his other novels. But this is more than just an interview. As the book moves forward, Professor Y reveals his real identity and the characters travel through the streets of Paris toward a bizarre climax that parodies the author, the critic, and, most of all, the establishment.

In the preceding decade he had written pamphlets blaming the approaching war on industrialists, literary figures, politicians and Jews. His anti-Semitism became more and more virulent, when the Occupation years ended in 1945 he went into exile in Denmark, where he was imprisoned for over a year for collaborating with the Nazis. Given amnesty by France in 1951, Celine returned, and found that his work was largely ignored.

In ”Conversations with Professor Y” he set out to restore his reputation as an innovative literary stylist. The book appears here in English for the primary time, alongside the French text, in a solid translation. Professor Y is a fictional foil for the author’s digs at formal literature, and much of ”Conversations” is hilarious. Celine is self-mocking as he tries to get his name back into circulation. He compares an eager talent to the new Big Bubbly soap product, is adamant in his revulsion at the ascendancy of ideas over emotion and is passionate in his desire to capture the immediacy of speech on the page. ”The emotion of spoken language through the written form! Just reflect on that a bit, dear Professor Y! get your noodle in gear!” Poor Professor Y! This dull academician (whose most intellectual comment is ”Why, holy moly! you’re afloat in dialectics!”) is led on a dizzying tour of Paris, overwhelmed by a crazed author who claims he’s on the brink of a revelation just when the professor expresses a need to find a bathroom. ”Conversations”is necessary for Celine fans, and a good, if tame, introduction for the uninitiated.

Who is he? Louis-Ferdinand Celine! Changed French creative writing of recognized artisti value exclusively with his emotive invention: to capture the emotion of oral language through the written form! It is a high energy book. Outrageous! Bold! Punctual! No exclamation marks used as excessively and as optimistically as Celine has done with this book. Nor with… three periods in a row! Using the metro as the metaphor, vehicle, breakthrough, epiphany for his invention. I read the book in one sitting! Difficult to put down. Conversations with Professor Y is with regards to conversations with Professor Y regarding the birthing of his literary invention. This style. The metro. The rail. This was the firstborn portion of the novel. The second share accounts the breakdown of Professor Y as Celine takes Professor Y back to his own publisher [Gallimard]. Not before taking the taxi, buying roses and lilies, peeing!

The reverse lookup is one of the best additions to the ever expanding internet technology. With this service, you may find someone’s email address in a few minutes; and this requires only a token. Besides the token amount required to investigate an email owner, you also need a computer and an internet connection. Once you turn on your computer and have it connected to the internet, you may search for a list of traditionalisti lookup directories on the internet. However, the lists may likewise include both remunerated and free directories. In most cases they are listed according to their ratings; specially on Google or Yahoo.

From the lists of web sites staged for the duration of your search, choose only the one that has a very high rating. However, you may click on the link at the end of this article for a review of galore of the quality reverse lookup websites where you may find anyone’s email address. Once you sign up with a directory or web site with a quality and up-to-date database, you may closely be sure of getting real value for your money. In terms of real value for money; salaried lookup websites have up-to-date data both from private and public databases. Email account suppliers like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, and other private and public domainname are among the web sites where premium lookup internet sites get their info from.

For the email lookup service, there is always a standard. Any time you want to find someone’s email address on a lookup directory, make sure the following data is included: original and last name of the sender; old and recent contact addresses; gender of the sender; age; telephone number; and a great deal of more. Only a premium or a plaid directory may provide you such details in less than five minutes. The free ones are always having challenges with their databases. The free directories depend on info already published on forums, Blogs or any other membership registration site; and that is why their records are always unreliable.

With your credit or debit card, you may begin your registration once you have finished the necessary search. It is also essential to read and agree with some of the rules found on the user-interface. Do not fail to draw the attention of a client services agent once you have any area that bothers you. There is utterly no need to rush your payment or registration; find out if the internetsite has a refund policy in case the database falls short of your expectation. Now you may find anyone’s email address; peculiarly if you are pleased with the terms of agreement.

If you’re into doing theater yourself, undertake the last act, “I’m Herbert.” It’s a pretty verbal farce and sure fire laughs. Anderson’s play as a whole is a sly comment on marriage at middle and at old age, and it’s a devastatingly comical comment on the show biz world of agents and actors, exceptionally the down and out “I’ll do Anything” veteran – the kind who’s seen too a great deal of winters without a paycheck. Anderson treats them all with sympathy and, at the same time, plays them utterly for laughs. Indeed, the last act I’ve noted is a cathartic for all of us who are getting long in the tooth and forgetful. So, try this play in a hammock on the beach, or as a night time snack or a playreader’s club reading, or as a staged play. In any form it’s a tonic for overwraught nerves from the strivings of the every day grind and a welcome baum for your aching back. HAVE FUN!
Pete Simpson

Have you felt an urge to change – perhaps you’ve started noticing changes occurring around you?

Every 2000 years one cosmic age ends and another begins. The Piscean Age – the Christian era – is now coming to a close, and the Age of Aquarius is presently on the ascendancy. Some have suggested that Jesus Himself foretold the New Age, with this instruction (Luke 22:10 and Mark 14:13) – “A man will meet you, carrying an earthen pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goes in.” (Aquarius is symbolised by the water-carrier… or, some might say, water-gatherer). Jesus, we understand, is the Alpha and the Omega – the Beginning and the End. His return is expected by a lot of to be for the duration of the early stages of the New Age. The Antichrist is likewise expected to start out marshalling his forces at that time.

The Age of Aquarius has been interpreted as a time when the humane microcosm will join in concordance with the divine macrocosm: it has also been seen as a pouring out of the Water of Life – the Holy Spirit (or in Eastern terms, Kundalini) – on humanity. The creation of a noosphere – a sphere of the spirit – has been predicted. The Book of Prophecies of the 11th century Knight John of Jerusalem says that “The millennium that comes after this millennium will modify into a light time. People will love and percentage and dream, and dreams will come true… humans will be one huge body, of which each person is a tiny part. Together they’ll be the heart, and they’ll speak one language… men will have reached heaven… men will recognise the spirit of all things… people will receive a second birth and the spirit will come into them.” This, surely, is the beginning of the 1000 years of pleasure and perfection spoken of in the 20th chapter of the Book of Revelation.

Buddhists, too, see this as a time of rebirth for humanity – a new beginning. And in Islamic tradition, there is a Qiyamah time – a time of judgment and resurrection – which seems to coincide with the Age of Aquarius. Hindu scriptures speak of an age of truth (Satya Yuga) when the falsehood of the former age (Kali Yuga – age of darkness and ignorance) will be revealed and will fall away.

A Golden Age is beginning, when religious deviations will disappear, and minds will be freed of ignorance and delusion. There will be a spiritual awakening, permitting each person to begin an inner spiritual journey, seeking after Truth and the eternal Spirit. It will be recognised that person worth comes from within. People will start out to rely less on money, possessions, fame, power and other humans for the answers they seek. The special importance and significance will be on graciousness and understanding, humanity, spirituality, truth and enlightenment. The humane race will become visionary and super-conscious. Leo, the polar opposite of Aquarius, will lend it is complementary characteristics, encouraging, inspiring and enlightening… palliating inner growth and universal harmony, peace and love. The sacredness of Life will be recognised. False doctrines will crumble, but a lot of subjects antecedently regarded with suspicion – UFOs, vegetarianism, substitute medicine, astrology, etc – will become commonplace. Spontaneous spiritual awakening, near-death experiences and extraterrestrial contacts are expected to become commonplace. Shifts in humane knowingness will be accompanied by a reawakening of the effeminate – both in secular and spiritual contexts. Ancient spiritual and indigenous knowledge, formerly secret, will become more and more available to the public. And the Internet will facilitate humane interconnections on a scale never before seen. Networks and confederacies are already beginning to form – in numerous cases, secretly or underground – to help with this outstanding Shift of the Ages.

Each cosmic Age is overseen by one of the seven rays of the Holy Spirit. The so-called ‘violet flame’ related with the Age of Aquarius is once in a while known as ‘the flame of transmutation and freedom’ – it may melt hard hearts, remainder karma, heal spiritual hurts and wounds, and transmute negative thinking. The observance of the presence of the violet flame and the raising of the sacred fire of Kundalini, for at least fifteen minutes each day, will increase our reverence for the Divine Mother, creating a sense of wholeness and remainder amid the masculine and effeminate distinct elements of God and permitting us to incorporate with our Higher Selves. We will know the Divine in everything and every one with whom we come into contact, the Flame in us acknowledging the Flame in them. The Flame is the effeminate energy, most times called the Spiritual (or Divine) Mother, the Holy Spirit, Wisdom, or Kundalini. The Scriptures foretell the coming of this effeminate energy – Revelation 12:1 (RSV) it says, “And a great portent appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon underneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars”.

The arrival of a New Cosmic Period involves powerful shifts in cosmic energies. The Earth’s energy shifted in 1987 from Tibet (masculine) to Peru (feminine)… in particular, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, high in the Andes. This is the portal through which effeminate energy is now entering Mother Earth (Pacha Mama). South America has now become the land of spiritual promise.

It is natural that in the presence of a new preponderance of effeminate energy pouring into our world, women – more than men – will respond, and welcome the coming of the New Age. But whether male or female, each of us has a masculine and a effeminate nature: there is a place in this outstanding adventure for each one of us. All that is necessary is that we know our effeminate side, and it is validity. The effeminate will be invoked through prayer and meditation. The rise of the ‘new man’ in innovative society proposes that already numerous men are recognising this aspect of their personalities, and the valid demands of the Divine Mother. According to astrology, women are identified with the Moon and Venus: Anael, the Angel of Venus, is due to assume guardianship of the world from AD2188 to AD2497, and not until that time are women expected to in the long run achieve finish sexual equality. However, we are now entering an age of the ascendancy of women, depicted in the last card of the Tarot – the World – where we see the Sphinx, the mythological beast that combines the features of a woman, a lion, a bull, and an eagle. Woman’s place in the World is now in the end to get started receiving a lot of recognition. Other than among a little number of mystics, the effeminate aspect of God (other than indirectly, through the Virgin) received little acknowledgement for the duration of the Christian era. But that which is neglected in one era, comes to the fore in the next.

2012 – the Year of the Dragon – is expected to be an apocalyptic year, and particularly one of outstanding spiritual transformation. Mankind is likely to experience an enormous shift in consciousness. That year an astronomical event will take place that has taken 26,000 years to finish – the plane of our solar system will line up precisely with the plane of our galaxy, the Milky Way. And according to NASA, the sun will reverse it is magnetic poles: this may cause solar storms and increments in cosmic rays. It has also been suggested that – according to sure ‘algorithmic codes’, concealed in the Bible – a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth that year. It is anticipated that this will precipitate respective natural disasters, such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes and supervolcano eruptions. An oil crisis is likewise expected, accompanied by permanent blackouts, worldwide. On 13 November a total solar eclipse will be visible from northern Australia and the South Pacific. Finally, at 11.11 (Universal Time) on 21 December (the Winter Solstice), the Mayan calendar (or to give it it is full name, the ‘Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar’) will come to the end of it is thirteenth (and final) B’ak’tun cycle. This is expected by a good deal of to herald a transition from the current Creation world into the next. Cosmic portals are expected to open, at a number of sacred websites around the world, including Peru and Sedona, Arizona. One Hindu tradition predicts the aspect of an Avatar (God in humane form) at this time, with superhuman powers. It is also widely believed that alien ‘watchers’ or ‘caretakers’ will return to Earth now, having helped us invent our technology, allround humane civilization, and having waited until this time for us to reach a higher level of advancement. Recently, a fiery object fell from the skies in Peru, creating a 15-foot deep hole, more than 60 feet wide, and filled with boiling water. People approaching it were made ill by the fumes it gave off. The crater has now started shrinking. This – it has been suggested – is the arrival of a UFO, that has now insinuated itself into the Andes mountains, ready for the time when contact will be made. Many more such occurrences are anticipated, as our extraterrestrial ‘brothers’ land in outstanding numbers. “The Kingdom is no longer at hand”, says Aramu-Muru. “The Kingdom is here, and is shortly to be manifest to all men.”

Between now and 2012, it has been predicted, a heap of new spiritual masters will arise. Worldwide, governments will get started to topple, and monetary schemes will be scrapped in favour of new currencies. The amount of time leading up to the Apocalypse will also be a time of great personal alter for galore people, including the ending of relationships, and the beginning of new ones, moves to new emplacements and residences, occupation changes and shifts in attitudes, as percentage of what we came here to experience and learn. Dreaming will become more intense, for many, and the mind and body will become more sensitive. Some say that the actual structure of DNA itself is changing, as a new ‘light body’ is created. Intuitive and healing abilities will come to the fore, and the new generation – the ‘indigo ‘ children – will tend to be telepathic. We are seeing the birth of a new mythology.

How must we respond to all of this? The simple counsel is… follow your heart, and let your intuition, not your intellect, be your guide. Resist those who would control, and pursue the path of healing that resonates with you. But know that – for a heap of – these changes will represent the end of the world as they recognise it. Before rushing towards the Light, stop for a moment, to help those who are frozen in fear, doubt and indecision. As we approach this new world age, we will have to in love reach out to the rest of humanity, and to Gaia, the Earth Mother. But above all, recognise that the Mayan calendar does not genuinely ‘end’ in 2012 – it plainly starts it is cycle all over again. What is approaching is not the end, but the beginning!

If you like Prince, Zappa and George Duke, this is your album. And if you like all three you’ll likely think it’s one of the best albums of the year…and you’d be right.

Mitchell Hughes
At least, I assume he’s from space. There is almost no Earthly comprehensible statement for the bass lines this man may drop. They’re a lot of of the most inventive, jazzy, and all-around coolest riffs I’ve heard in a while. This album seems like a direct continuance on Flying Lotus’ “Cosmogramma,” on which Thundercat’s skill was to a great extent utilized. Point being- this is a fantastic album, and if you’re a fan of Flying Lotus, you’re already a fan of Thundercat even if you didn’t know it. This man is a savant on the bass. It would be ludicrous to keep out of the way of buying this album.

For anybody studying popular classical music, it may be a daunting task to recognise where to begin. There are so numerous outstanding pieces that a beginner may get overwhelmed. Here are 10 of the most general classical pieces with a brief background of each. There are numerous others, of course, but these 10 are surely amid the most popular classical pieces of all time.

Clair de Lune is a piece by Claude Debussy, a French composer. It is the third and most usual motion of the more spectacular Suite bergamasque. It is played pianissimo and is for the most part in D-flat major, with a shift to E major toward the end. Clair de Lune has been taught to students of usual classical piano for years and is conspicuously featured in movies and television shows.

Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 14, popularly called the Moonlight Sonata, was finished in 1801. Beethoven had begun to suffer from hearing loss prior to this and employed a particular rod attached to the piano’s soundboard in order to feel the vibrations and heighten his sense of the music. It was given the name Moonlight Sonata by a music critic who equated it to the moonlight shining on a lake.

Canon in D is the most well known piece by Johann Pachelbel. Originally written for three violins and basso continuo, it has since been given galore dissimilar arrangements. Basso continuo refers to a group of instruments, one of which ought to be capable to play chords. Other instruments must be competent to play in the bass register, such as a cello. Canon in D is oftentimes played at weddings.

The Hallelujah Chorus is part of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. The text is from a libretto by Charles Jennens, who adapted elements of the Old and New Testaments for his composition. The Hallelujah Chorus is taken from the book of Revelation, and it is customary for audiences to stand for the duration of this motion of the Messiah.

George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue is a piece that combines the constituents of general classical music with the ordinary jazz music of the era. It was commissioned as a classical factor in an all-jazz concert to be staged by band leader Paul Whiteman. Known as Al Capone’s favored song, Rhapsody in Blue has been featured in a good deal of films and advertisements.

The Piano Sonata in B minor is one of Franz Listz’s most popular classical solo piano works. It is a piece in the Romantic style and comprises of little movements woven into a larger whole. Thematic constituents are staged in each movement, altho the dissimilar setting of the movements make the parts sound differently each time. In one section the melody may seem violent, yet later in the piece it becomes something pretty in a dissimilar context.

Symphony No. 5 by Gustav Mahler holds some of the mutual constituents of Mahler’s work, such as the funeral march. Commentators have brought up that when hearing Mahler’s Fifth “you forget that time has passed.” Scored for a big orchestra, the Fifth is considered to be Mahler’s most established symphony up to that point in his career. He was regarded as a highly unconventional composer until the Fifth was published.

Johann Sebastian Bach composed The Well-Tempered Clavier to instruct students in solo piano playing. He gathered 24 pieces and published them in 1722 as The Well-Tempered Clavier. In 1744 he published a similar collection with the title Twenty-Four Preludes and Fugues. Combined, these two books integrate The Well-Tempered Clavier.

The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi comprises of four violin concertos. A Baroque piece from 1723, The Four Seasons is likewise considered a series of tone poems, as Vivaldi provided instructions with each movement. Phrases such as “the drunkards have fallen asleep” and “the barking dog” give conductors instructions in regards to the feel of each concerto in this usual classical piece.

In 1980, promoter Paul Loasby planned a day-long summer festival devoted specially to bands from within the heavy rock and metal genre. As he had been advancing the recent Rainbow UK tour, he asked the band to headline, to which they agreed. The “Monsters of Rock” festival was born.

The venue chosen for the event was the Donington Park motor racing circuit at Castle Donington, Leicestershire. Capable of keeping up to 100,000 fans, it was near to the industrial Midlands and had easy access to major transport links.

The Monsters of Rock festival was a one day festival that lasted from 1980-1997, with a few interruptions. During the years Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Ozzy and other heavy metal and hard rock greats headlined the event.

Iron Maiden hold the record for most headline appeareces at Donington Park – four. Previously the record of three was held by AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica. However it will have to be brought up that Ozzy Osbourne also appeared with Black Sabbath in 2005 and that Ozzfest/Escape from the Studio ’95 (Metallica) were not share of the main Monsters of Rock/Download festival series.

In 1988 two music fans were without advance planning crushed to death for the duration of Guns ‘N’ Roses performance of “It’s so Easy”, it was a fateful combining of persons at the front of the 107,000 strong audience moshing and slipping in the mud (it had rained heavily) in conjunction with a sudden surge to see the band. The festival wasn’t kept the following year.

After the decline of British hard rock music in the early 90s in the face of grunge rock and with the late 90s rise of pop further hampering the genre, Monsters of Rock had been forced to stop in 1996. But the tradition of festivals being held at Donington Park prevailed; in 2001 the basi 2-day festival took place at Donington Park (the Rock and Blues Festival).

By 2003 however, hard rock was growing again and Live Nation decisive to resurrect the Monsters of Rock of old, beneath a new name – Download Festival. The festival was a runaway success, and initially lasted two days (expanding to 3 days in 2005) rather than the single day Monsters of Rock always had. The festival proceeds to this day.

In 2011 the System of a Down and Linkin Park will headline the Download Festival.

If God is Love then Why is there Evil in the World?

Atheists may say that they may refuse to play “the game” that we say God has designed for us all. The game that He has designed, however, is that of Life and death. If you are alive, you are already in that game, like it or not.

There is no option, then, of refusing to play, but if you are going to play the game of life play it to win by the instructions given you or play it to lose by throwing the instructions away and thence lose in death, THAT’S YOUR CHOICE plain and simple.

At the top of most Atheist / Skeptic web-sites is this very lawful question that SEEMS to get right beneath the skin of everyone including most Christians who seem stumped as to an answer when asked this question, commonly from a lack of noesis as to God’s unfeigned nature.

Remember that the Atheist says there “IS no God” emphatically so he leaves no room for unfeigned proof to the contrary, so NO amount of “Proof” will alter anything for him. What will have to be understood here is that the Atheist has a BELIEF that God is not there but that faith in itself is NO PROOF it is true anymore than our personal faith is proof he does exist.

It is not my occupation to prove to the Atheist that he exists, but you the Atheist / Skeptic have the daunting task to prove “beyond the shadow of doubt” that there is no God at all!

If this had EVER been done by Atheists / Skeptics in any past try I would not be writing this article and would then be “of all men most miserable” believing a lie all this time; but trust me I’ve heard it all before and my faith in a living God is more inviolable with each vain undertake at disproving his power!

The problem is an apparent one unless you refrain from it exclusively as most in the churches do, but Atheists/Skeptics will proceed to ask it irrespective of our answer because it is a supposed slap in the face of a loving God we preach about!

They for the most part do not care for a real answer in the introductory place because the question makes our preaching appear to be contradictory with the Bible, it isn’t; but it appears that way for the simple reason that most people do not study scripture to find answers but to manufacture questions to attack it. This line of “NON-reasoning bias” has worked very well for those who hate anything related to “The God Delusion question” as they call it!

The very original thing to be understood is that it is the bible, that is the ONLY true source of data regarding God.

If Atheists say something with regards to God from where does their effigy of God come from? Where is their selective information base regarding God when the Bible is all there is?

At a heap of point in History a Cave Man must have come up with a very perplexed religious view BUT WHY?

It would seem it comes from each place outside of scripture with a few exclusions of “misapplications of scripture”… but Why?

It seems a little thing called “context” of history, science, physics, or Geography only applies to their books on evolution! I’m genuinely sorry guys but context is always applied to the bible IF you want a truthful answer from me, or you may just live in ignorance and be happy in your disbelief!

If you may misuse scripture and twist it in this way do you genuinely think anything you believe in regards to God is accurate?

1) We all consider parents to be loving when they permit their child to suffer insignificantly for a dandier good, like paying for a fault in judgment to learn a valuable lesson.

2) Our more outstanding good is salvation and in order for us to veritably be grateful for that gift we must once in a while suffer when we disobey the rules of God.

3) Our earthly suffering is not significant when examined in the scope of eternity, just as a child’s disturb for a short time pails when looked at as a life time lesson.

4) Therefore, we may experience suffering and still believe in the existence of a loving God, just a child loves their parents even after discipline. ANALYZE THIS because it makes perfective sense!

Skeptics say that Christians deceive themselves into believing that there is a god, in order to supply their lives with an goal to be attained purpose. However, they on purpose reject the conception of a deity, and, accordingly in the same breath, reject any conception of an goal to be attained aim to their own lives, but with regard to emotions they will maintain that their lives have a intention (would it be making the lives of those who have intention miserable?

Or is it a intention that may only be imaginative since the God who gives aim isn’t there?

After all the instructing of Evolution has no moral intent but to be “fit enough” to survive and evolve to the next species stepping on the weak and sick to get there. At least we recognise our God is real, and we may have issues as sinful humans but we don’t have to pretend that our lives have meaning to try and prove a point.

WHAT IS EVIL?

IS EVIL A THING OR A PERSON?

To answer this question one ought to go to physics to gain clear or deep perception as to just what the conception of “Evil” is.

It may also be asked “What is Darkness?

Or better “Does Darkness exist? The answer might surprise you, because in fact “Darkness” does NOT subsist at all.

There is not a thing that is tangible called Darkness; WHY?

Because the simple fact is that Darkness cannot be measured by any scientific measurement BUT Light may and this proves that dark is merely the ABSENCE of the light.

Darkness does not recede, it is the light that draws back and leaves the void that we call darkness. Darkness has no energy of it’s own to measure accordingly it does not subsist as energy and in the SAME WAY Evil does not subsist as an energy form, it is merely the absence of the light of God.

Whenever the goodness of God leaves Evil fills that void!

Satan as a person exists but the Evil in him was left only when God’s light was got rid of from him, consequently Satan and the Demons act in the void where God once was. Since Darkness is a state where the light is not, Evil is the state where God is got rid of since God is said in scripture to “have NO shadow of turning in him”.

It is in this state that the issue of God’s existence is used, the void is no place to look for God. This is the precise reason that Hell is a just place to place the unjust. Those who exercise evil are right at home in the void of NO God and that is JUST what Hell is!

Atheists argue that there is no Hell but at the same time do not want any mention of God or Satan, but it is Hell that is the perfective Atheist enviroment forever…NO God, No morality, No goodness, No Faith in God, No EVIDENCE He’s there at all forever…it’s the Atheists UTOPIA!

Just kidding, I do NOT wish it upon anyone!

DID GOD CREATE EVIL? DID HE MAKE SATAN FALL AND THEREFORE MAN?

I will try to make this simple to grasp, and I recognise that the Atheist will mock this simplistic example but why get all theological with a simple answer?

The question as to whether God formulated Evil is a flat out NO, because all the things he formulated were as he said in Genesis “GOOD” and evil by any definition is NOT good. But to the right way grasp this we ought to get the divergence among the RULE of “Thou shalt not” and the disobedience of “Yes I will no matter what you say! “

It is true that God made it possible for “Evil” to to appear as a problem in man in the same way that a Parent makes it possible for their child to disobey them by making a rule that says they can’t do something that could hurt them, plainly by telling the child “You will not do this or that!” and the child does it anyway; therefore disobedience is the result. But think when it comes to it is it the parents fault the child didn’t listen to the instructions or is it the child’s fault for doing what they were told merely not to do?

It is apparent from this simple example that God can not be blamed for the void that is left when WE by choice rebel and commit sin! Sin is the action made when the direction of the light of God is got rid of from our path in life, there’s not one thing else in the void but sin.

When a persons actions become disobedient God leaves leaves them at the point of their rebellion and Darkness is left until repentance restores the light to the void within you, this is what the New Birth is: a restoration of the light (Guidance of God to a dark spiritual existence!)

So it is God who made “Evil”(possible) by giving us the freewill to choose just how we were to live BUT man himself is the one TOTALLY to blame for the “experience of Evil called sin” we made sin and the evil it leaves the world in our home base of operation. It is amusive notwithstanding (In a pitiful kind of way) that Atheists spend what little time on world they have falsely debating the existence of the God they all ought to face in Judgment rather of letting God merely disclose himself through the simple act of faith and too answer all their doubts!

Evil is NOT the world’s problem it is the selections we make to NOT follow the rules set in stone by God, disobedience condemns each man, women, and child on the planet. God requires Obedience….plain and simple just as your parents required obeisance to their rules, it was for your own good!

Satan himself (Formally known as Lucifer- the light bearer) was responsible because of his own free will to determine to disobey his God! God did not manufacture him with any flaws, but his weaknesses (his pride in himself and his endowments ) were introduced to him from his amount of energy (worship leader, warrior angel, musical instrument and finelooking angelic being) and he nursed them over time until his weaknesses overpowered his good reason and rebellion versus his creator resulted!

Sin causes us to look at those things in our lives that we do well, things that God blesses and approves of; then while we are focalized on ourselves our weaknesses are being manipulated, confusedness sets in and we get turned around on our priorities.

We all mean well, but forces beyond us are twisting our motivatings to an end not intended we then turn the best of intents to self detrimental conduct before we recognise it! The real problem with sin is that it learns from us just how to deceive us better the next time, we are sins “eyes and ears within the worlds system and as our “practices” become “habits” the conception sin then becomes rooted in the D.N.A. of our lives.

What is real faith?

Atheists redefine it as “….hope for a circumstance or thing that is not proven to be true. There is no virtue in accepting something on faith, since it may very well be false, and it is distinctly not virtuous to believe the false. Faith has also been proven through out history, time and again, that it is equivalent to massive hysteria; IE: Crusades, Burning Times, Inquisitions, Holy Wars, etc. (In most cases the unfeigned Christians were the victims of these attacks from untrue religious people) On a grand scale faith, therefore far, has only proven to be an intellectual weakness, and a substantial barrier to scientific and moral progress.

(Despite the fact that most early scientists were believes fighting a scheme of untrue beliefs) With all of this in mind, how may God perhaps suppose us to view faith as the greatest way to glorify him, let alone demand this of us?

Well again the bible in Hebrews 11: 1 defines faith exclusively dissimilar we read in the bible that

“NOW (Present tense) FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

Notice that the facts are merely unrevealed to our senses NOT untrue, this alone proves my point that a simple act of obeisance may open a plethora of facts to our minds in seconds but the skeptic cannot fetch themselves to follow simple instructions but would rather redefine than obey!

This is true Bible faith and only when this is freed may God disclose himself to us!

Faith is the total answer to any question asked regarding God’s reputation or nature….period!

God requires total mental involvement, psychological result of perception learning and reasoning is freed NOT kept back by unfeigned faith, on the other hand disobedience prevents real noesis from surfacing because our agendas block reception of truth in interchange for sensed facts.

If we consider God “EVIL” before we even listen why he isn’t, then we cannot believe past our “IDEA that God is bad, even when the proof is precisely the opposite. It is always funny that the Atheist / skeptic will use the very things that God has in FAR more abundance { Love, Grace, Mercy, Fairness, Righteousness, Kindness ect. } than they do to disprove his capacity to rule the universe.

Atheist’s say they are Capable of judging with accuracy and may conform to the precise rules of propriety, or at least it sounds good to listen it from them but do they?

I may make no such assert as a Christian and neither may they! Why? Because this is inconceivable to do, emotions can not be shut off. The problem is their minds are made up before hand to not believe, so how may they ever be a perfective judge?

The only way to genuinely judge the bible is to be totally free of all aroused baggage in connection to the subjects at hand and no one is! SO I ASK YOU IN ALL HONESTY…. CAN YOU OR ANYONE GET IN LINE FOR JUDGING GOD? Unless you may look at the proof with a rigorously “LOGICAL MIND” (I’m sure there are no Atheist Valcans out there!) without NEGATIVE emotions of any kind then you “Atheist OR Christian” can not judge what God did or does….without putting apart your attachment to an outcome one way or the other!

It is NOT what I or you consider to be logical with our “shifting aroused outbursts” that ought to be used to judge the proof for or versus God’s ACTIONS BUT ONLY PURE LOGICAL DEDUCTION ALONE!

I am NOT saying that we can not have aroused affixations to the subjects, God knows I do. But what I am saying is that we can not begin to be “Logical” if emotion takes the place of understanding.”

Allow your aroused affixations to take a back seat to finding the truth, isn’t that what pure science is about?

What if scientists of the past employed “emotionally charged baggage” to find out if man could fly? Or drive a car?

Or not just fly off the planet?

Do you think we would be sitting in airplanes today or still getting untrue ideas regarding heavier than air vehicles? Driving or riding in horse drawn carriages?

Would we have found Gravity or kept on for dear life instead?

If you cannot follow this simple rule, then your battle is not with a non existent God but LOGICAL DEDUCTION and science ITSELF.

Harris
Note: Amazon has merged the product pages together for two seperate items–the Holocaust documentary and the Joaquin Phoenix faux documentary of the same title. Many persons have contacted them (including myself) in regards to this discrepancy starting in October of 2010 and yet here we still are. No one submitting reviews for either film is “wrong” or “mistaken.” It is a technical error that has NOTHING whatsoever to do with person reviewers in spite of the evident response of casting negative votes back and forth which serves neither film.

Madness or high-concept performance art? “I’m Still Here,” the faux documentary with regards to actor Joaquin Phoenix, is likely to baffle and divide it is audience. When Phoenix decisive to quit acting, and seemingly hygiene, to pursue his passion of getting a rap star–his friend and brother-in-law Casey Affleck was there to follow and film the inevitable fall from grace. There was rampant speculation from the get-go in regards to the legitimacy of the endeavor (especially as it was all being filmed), but the longer the debacle played out–the less it seemed to matter. Fake or real, the harm was being done. Now, closely two years later, to have the entire experience and film declared a ruse seems the uttermost act of futility. Who, exactly, is the joke on? And to what purpose?

“I’m Still Here” covers all the trappings of a celebrity life in descent. Drug use, prostitutes, public intoxication, brawling and a “star” desperate to be taken severely in spite of his best attempts to act a fool–we’ve seen the act before in innumerable narrative films and fictionalized biographies. We get a repeat of the illfamed Letterman interview, the concert performance that became a YouTube sensation, and the incident where Phoenix attacked a concert goer. We likewise get to see moments of celebrity intervention–Edward James Olmos tries the spiritual approach while Ben Stiller tries to get Phoenix back to work. Much of the film is regarding a scramble to get into the music industry. Phoenix acutely pursues P. Diddy, the film’s most inspired performance, who is mainly just concerned when it comes to getting paid. Now that’s real! And it all concludes on a rather absurd “arty” note which has got to be satirical.

Affleck has maintained that this is his brother-in-law’s best performance. The problem is–I don’t know if I believe him, I don’t recognise that I care, and I don’t know if it matters? At a great deal of point, you have to ask yourself “what’s the point?” As near as I may figure, the only analysis has “I’m Still Here” as a discussion on the nature of reality and/or the nature of celebrity. On either account, is it applicable and necessary? When it was declared “I’m Still Here” was a hoax, that genuinely doesn’t modify much of the on-screen content. Phoenix deconstructed his life on camera and those bad acts were put in the film. Even if galore of the private incidents were staged (who knows? who cares?), the public conduct earned Phoenix notoriety as a drug addled buffoon. So whether he was living the life depicted or “acting” like he was living the life depicted, there isn’t much real difference. What’s that say with regards to reality? Not so sure. And with celebrity meltdowns almost a per month occurrence, does a “fake” one merit much interest? Not so sure.

The alternate option, and the one I tend to gravitate towards, is that it’s all genuinely rather meaningless in the long run. I think Affleck’s “truthful” revelation while the film was in fixed release was meant to fuel interest and debate. Duh? Fine, then, let’s set a dissimilar set of standards. As a fictional experiment, I still think the film and it is topic play out too often in real life to be in particular revelatory here. In terms of entertainment, I’d make the same argument. At best, I’d say that “I’m Still Here” is a arousing and attention holding excursion in self-indulgence both by Phoenix and Affleck. Whether that’s sufficient will depend on your interest in the pair. I was mildly fascinated when all is said and done. KGHarris, 10/10.

Only tweekers and stoners will find any value in this. Who would go all-out and peril personal demolish to make this trash?! This is what Phoenix damaged his career two plus years for?! Maybe he just wanted an pardon to pig out and get baked for awhile. There is no value to the acting. The story is all over the place. The rapping is neither good nor funny. It’s when it comes to as fun as stomping on a flaming bag of dookie.

Evleth
Let me firstborn say that I’ve always been a fan of Juaquin. I gravely thought he was going down the same dark path as his brother River.
It hurt me to see him like that and my heart ached for him.
Once this was revealed as a hoax, I was SO happy, but could not grasp why he would sabotage his career like he did. I just HAD to see the movie.
Now, I am sorry that I did. Let me start out by saying that I am not a prude. And NOT ALOT offends me. THIS IS OFFENSIVE!!! If this is veritably how he is in real life, I will never again take interest in his career or watch one of his movies. The vulgar language, the disgusting sexual content, the drug use…I have to believe (sadly) that most of this is TRULY who he is. Even HE is not THAT good of an actor.
GREAT WORK JUAQUIN AND CASEY!!! Truly career sabotage! Don’t waste your money…the story isn’t even good….and the ending is not satisfying (I kept hoping for something good to come out of all of the crap – it never did). It just ends.

The finish is of very high quality and the sound is rather nice. The action is also better than one could hope for in a $199 guitar and the tuning pegs are excellent. It holds it is tune very well, even with brand new strings (according to the Korg GA electronic tuner that I purchased at the same time). An added bonus is the well made phony leather hard case that is also a bargain at the price. I’m sure more experienced guitarists could find fault and I’m sure a $1000-plus guitar would be better made/sound better, but this is a outstanding place to start. The sunburst finish is very nice. Amazon handled the dealing flawlessly also.

The finish was a little dusty, but perfect. I salaried a buck fifty with free shipping. Even two hundred would be worth it.

Bassist Les Claypool wears a heap of hats, in a literal sense and figuratively, in the course of 5 Gallons of Diesel, a comprehensive look at his a good deal of band and solo projects. Clocking in at well over three hours, including bonus material, this mostly-live collection finds the former Primus mainstay performing with no less than five dissimilar groups; all of them feature Claypool’s amusive stage outfits (replete with an ever-changing array of crazy lids), supremely funky playing, decidedly strange songwriting, and so-so vocals, but each is distinguishable sufficient to warrant it is own monicker. They include Sausage, a kind of heavy industrial funk trio appearing in a very agreeably diverting video for “Riddles Are Around Tonight” (imagine an ingenuous set combining Rube Goldberg and the Blue Man Group and you get the basic idea); Holy Mackerel, best described as Egyptian surf music; Oysterhead, a virtual alt-rock supergroup with Claypool, former Police drummer Stewart Copeland, and Phish mainstay Trey Anastasio (whose guitar comes with a set of antlers–and yes, he does “play” them); the Frog Brigade, whose eight tunes (all live) disclose influences ranging from Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart to the Ramones and Jimi Hendrix; and Colonel Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains, another star-studded outfit (with guitarist Buckethead and P-Funk keyboardist Bernie Worrell) whose lengthy metal-funk jams never rather coalesce. And wait, there’s more: a live performance of “Riddles,” another appealingly weird video (for “Buzzards of Green Hill”), behind-the-scenes and “making of” footage… it goes on. Claypool is not a great singer, and his songwriting is an acquired taste. But superb musicianship and an abiding sense of humor mean that 5 Gallons of Diesel is never less than entertaining, and oftentimes a good deal more. –Sam Graham

Forsman
It’s with regards to time they put out a DVD for Les Claypool’s solo work. While I would’ve love an entire concert by any of his solo incarnations, it’s nice to see a sampling of everything he’s done. The dvd is very similar to the Animals Should Not Act Like People dvd. The quality of the live stuff varies, galore of it is shot on home video, while others are high quality professional mixes. For example, a couple tracks from the Frog Brigade were taken straight from unused Bonnaroo footage. If you have seen the basi Bonnaroo dvd then you recognise what you’re in for. Of peculiar note on this set are the two Frog Brigade tracks from 10/9/00 and the two CCBBB tracks from 9/16/02. Both shows were supposedly taped to be freed in entirety. While it would be great to get those shows.. it’s nice to see a few tracks at least make an appearence here. This set isn’t for everyone, but if you may be grateful for Les’ more eccentric catalog and not just for his work with Primus, then it’s a outstanding purchase. For the price you get a lot of material. I only wish more bands would release DVDs as rich as this one. Highly recommended.
